Free Enneagram Test: Find Your Type and Wing
Rate 54 short statements from disagree (1) to agree (5). Answer for how you usually are, not how you would like to be. You will see your likely Enneagram type, your wing and how all nine types scored.

How the test is scored
Each of the nine types has six statements. Your score for a type is the total of your six answers, shown as a percentage from lowest (all 1s) to highest (all 5s). Your likely type is the highest score. Your wing is whichever of its two neighbors scored higher. If two types tie, we tell you so instead of guessing.

Enneagram types are defined by core motivations and fears, not behaviors. Two people can both work late every night, one to avoid looking like a failure (Type 3) and one because a job half-done feels wrong (Type 1). If your top two scores are close, read the "core fear" section of both type pages and notice which one stings.
The test is a starting point for self-reflection. It is not a psychological assessment.
Frequently asked questions
How accurate is this Enneagram test?
No questionnaire can type you with certainty. The Enneagram is about motivation, which is hard to see from the outside, so treat your top two or three results as candidates and read their descriptions. The one that makes you slightly uncomfortable is often the right one.
How long does the test take?
There are 54 short statements. Most people finish in 6 to 9 minutes.
What is a wing?
Your wing is one of the two types next to yours on the Enneagram circle. It adds its flavor to your main type. This test shows the neighbor that scored higher, for example 4w5 or 4w3.
Is this the official RHETI test?
No. These statements were written for Lunar Almanac and are not taken from any published instrument. The test is free and for self-reflection.
Do you store my answers?
No. Scoring happens in your browser and nothing is sent to our server.
